  3. Release the dial at the rear of helmet, so that the helmet is at its biggest size.
  4. Put the helmet on. Tighten the dial so the helmet fits snugly.
  5. Check your helmet fits equally around the head. Feel with the tip of your finger for any gaps, front back and side. Tighten the dial if necessary.
  6. Lift the helmet off your head slowly to see if the skin on the forehead and eyebrows lift with the helmet.
    Repeat a couple of times.
  7. Check movement front to back and side to side, there should be minimum movement.
  8. If the helmet is too tight you could try the next shell size up or down if the helmet is too loose.
  9. Foam tape can be used in these helmets to increase comfort & fill gaps, but cannot be hidden inside the helmet so care needs to be taken.
  10. Once fitted the dial should not be tampered with.

Please note: Abuse of the dial can lead to it malfunctioning so care needs to be taken. The hat is not suitable for use on more than one person.
